The components of the dome lamp circuit are the dome lamp, the dome lamp switch and the dome lamp door switch.

(3) Dome lamp door switch With the battery disconnect switch in the ON position, 24 volt power is supplied from circuit breaker #4 to the dome lamp and the dome lamp switch.When dome lamp switch (2) is moved to the ON position an internal ground source will be switched. 24 volt power is then supplied to illuminate dome lamp (1).With the dome lamp switch in the OFF position and the cab door is open, dome lamp door switch (3) contacts will close and power will be supplied to illuminate the dome lamp. When the cab door is closed the contacts in the dome lamp door switch will open and the dome lamp will turn OFF.
