Brake accumulator purge solenoidThe brake accumulator purge solenoid is an output of the ECM. The brake accumulator purge solenoid connects to the ECM at connector contact J1-12. Work area vision (WAV) controlThe work area vision system (WAVS) is a closed circuit video monitoring system. The system includes a 178 mm (7 inch) LCD color display and one, two, or three cameras. The display is mounted in the machine cab. The cameras are mounted on the frame of the machine. The location of the cameras is based on the type of the machine. The cameras are activated when an ECM low driver output energizes a relay that sends battery voltage to the triggers of the respective camera. The system is designed to give the operator a better view of the work area. The system has two modes of operation, manual mode and automatic mode. Automatic mode is the preferred mode of operation. In the automatic mode, the display will provide the camera views that are defined by the configuration of the system. The configuration of the system is determined upon installation of the system.Machine Lockout Lamp

Machine lockout lampThe lamp is an output of the ECM. The lamp will illuminate when the machine lockout mode is activated. The indicator will flash continuously when a machine lockout is attempted and the required conditions are not met.The indicator is mounted on the exterior of the machine. The indicator is visible from the front bumper. The base of the indicator has two terminals. One terminal connects to the chassis ECM at connector contact J2-10. The second terminal connects to the terminal for the positive battery voltage.Starter Relay

Starter relayThe starter relay is controlled by the chassis ECM through an on/off output driver.When the chassis ECM receives a start input from the key start switch, the ECM activates the on/off output driver. The driver is activated in order to supply power to the starter relay. The power is supplied if the following conditions are met:
The parking brake is engaged.
The drivetrain is in NEUTRAL.When the ECM activates the starter relay, power is directed to the starter through the relay contacts.Solenoid (Hoist Raise)
