PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Refer to the Service Manual as necessary.
1) Remove rear floor plate and locate lift valve solenoid.

2) Disconnect wiring harness at connector from solenoid.

3) Remove the "Hirshman" Connector from the harness.
Note: Do not cut the wires!
Disassemble the Hirschman Connector to remove it.
Failure to disassemble may leave the wires too short for adding the 186-3736 Deutsch Connector.

4) Add the 186-3736 Deutsch Connector to the harness. Refer to the image 1.4.2 for the correct location of the wires in the Deutsch Connector.

5) Remove the existing solenoid and replace it with a new one.
6) Reconnect the wiring harness.
Test for proper function.
