Personal injury can result from removing hoses or fittings in a pressure system.Failure to relieve pressure can cause personal injury.Do not disconnect or remove hoses or fittings until all pressure in the system has been relieved.
Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
Drain the rear axle housing and the final drive assemblies into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the capacity of the rear axle housing and the final drive assemblies. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Differential and Final Drive Oil (With Axle Oil Cooler) - Change" or Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Differential and Final Drive Oil (Without Axle Oil Cooler) - Change" for the correct draining procedure.

Remove four bolts (1) . Remove left side fender (2) .

Place right side fender (3) in the position shown in Illustration 2.

Disconnect hose assembly (4) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (5) and (6) .

Disconnect lubrication hose assembly (8) from the rear support.
Remove bolt (7) and bolt (9) from the clips.

Disconnect lubrication hose assembly (10) from the front support.

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to both sides of the rear oscillating axle. The weight of the rear oscillating axle is approximately 1595 kg (3517 lb).
Install a suitable stand under both sides of the rear oscillating axle as shown in Illustration 7.

Disconnect hose assembly (13) .
Remove two locknuts (12) .
Remove nuts (11) .
Remove two bolts (14) .

Right side of rear support
Disconnect hose assembly (18) .
Remove two locknuts (16) .
Remove nuts (15) .
Remove two bolts (17) .

Remove two locknuts (22) , two nuts (21) and two bolts (19) from the front support.
Remove two locknuts (23) , two nuts (24) and two bolts (20) from the front support.
Remove the stands from under both sides of the rear oscillating axle. Lower the rear oscillating axle to the ground.
