Release the hydraulic system pressure.

Remove the hydraulic tank cap and install Tooling (A) . Apply 276 kPa (40 psi) to 414 kPa (60 psi) of air pressure to Tooling (A) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove temperature control valve (1).
Disconnect hose assemblies (4). Remove bolts (3) and hydraulic oil cooler bypass valve (2) .Installation Procedure

Install hydraulic oil cooler bypass valve (2) and bolts (3) .
Install hose assemblies (4) .
Install temperature control valve (1). Tighten temperature control valve to a torque of 88 7 N m (65 5 lb ft).
Release the air pressure from Tooling (A). Remove Tooling (A) from the hydraulic tank and replace the hydraulic tank cap.
Check the fluid level in the hydraulic tank. Add hydraulic fluid, if necessary. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Tank Oil - Change" for the correct filling procedure.
