1 - - All bearings and connecting passages to be filled with lubricant.
2 8 8T-0281 Bolt Torque to 300 40 N m (221 30 lb ft).
3 8 8T-0281 Bolt Use the following procedure to tighten the bolts:
1. Completely seat U-Joints using rundown bolts and an "X" pattern. Replace rundown bolts with new driveline bolts.
2. Tighten driveline bolts to 300 40 N m (221 30 lb ft) using "X" pattern.
3. Again, tighten driveline bolts to 300 40 N m (221 30 lb ft) using an "X" pattern.
4 - - Before assembly, ensure to wipe bearing cap and yoke mounting faces clean.
