Introduction
The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.Problem
AccuGrade v10.7, on the CD700 displays have a limit that prevents more than 999 files in one folder on the Compact Flash card. The 999 File Limit issue occurs when the Production Reporting is turned on and when more than 999 files are being created in one folder on the Compact Flash card.Solution
Once the 999 file limit is reached, the display will stop recording Production Reporting data to the Compact Flash card and will not notify the operator that this data is no longer being recorded. One of the following three options can be used as a solution to the 999 File Limit issue:Option 1
Use Compact Flash data card management. At least once a week, copy the "*.tag" files to a secure location and remove the files from the Compact Flash card.If the site is using the Wireless option in order to transfer data to the office, then the files in the"Production-Archive" folder need to be removed from the Compact Flash card.Note: The 999 Tag file limit represents more than 80 machine hours of Production Data on the Compact Flash card.

Option 3
When you create a Compact Flash data card, do not place more than 999 files in one folder (including the root folder).
Periodically backup and delete any unneeded data from the Compact Flash card. Deleting the files will prevent more than 999 files from being created in one folder.
