Description of Change: The transmission serial number plate may be incorrectly marked on certain D6T Track-Type Tractors. There have been instances where the serial number plate was marked with the incorrect prefix "KIT". The correct prefix is "K1T". The transmission housing is marked with the correct serial number prefix. This incorrect marking does not affect machine operation in any way, and will not cause any issues with warranty. However, if a new serial number plate is desired, contact the DSN and request a new serial number plate by providing the machine serial number, the transmission serial number, and a shipping address and contact. Once the new serial number tag is installed, the old serial number tag must be returned.Adaptable To: The transmission serial number plate may be incorrectly marked on the following machines:
