(10) Anti drift valve The multi-combined valve can be programmed for as many as ten work tools with the monitor or Cat ET.The valve uses two proportional solenoids (1) to control the flow to the work tool. The valve uses two proportional solenoids (3) for control of the line relief pressure. One proportional solenoid (7) is used as a pressure cutoff valve for the work tool.An additional solenoid valve is used to select one-way oil flow or two-way oil flow.Multi-Combined Valve (One-Way Flow)
For one-way flow, selector solenoid valve (1) is energized in order to direct return oil directly to the tank. Solenoid (8) determines the maximum flow to the tool. Solenoid (2) is not active. In one-way flow, the thumb slider on the right joystick or an optional foot pedal can be operated in both directions. However, the result is always the activation of solenoid (8) and one-way flow (A⇒B). The high-pressure side is on the left side of the machine and the return oil is on the right side of the machine.When selector valve (1) is de-energized, the valve blocks pilot oil to the one-way selector valve. Supply oil can be directed to either port to the work tool.Priority valve (5) is shifted upward by the supply pressure, if the multi-combined valve has a load pressure that is higher than the other circuits and if the pump capacity has not been exceeded.Some of the supply oil that flows past flow compensator (6) unseats the check valve and the supply oil becomes signal oil. The signal is directed to the main pump group and to all pressure compensators in the other implements.Priority valve (5) is shifted upward by the supply pressure, if the multi-combined valve has a load pressure that is higher than the other circuits and if the pump capacity has not been exceeded.The signal to the multi-combined valve is blocked by the check valve.Flow compensator (6) will regulate the flow to the main control valve in order to maintain the desired flow rate.Oil flow from the priority valve to the multi-combined valve is independent of load from the other implements. The oil flow from the priority valve follows the P-Q characteristic curve of the main pump.Priority valve (5) moves downward, when the multi-combined valve has a load pressure that is higher than the other circuits and the pump capacity has been exceeded and since the load pressure and the force of the priority valve spring are greater than the supply pressure that is working below priority valve (5).Some of the supply oil flows through priority valve (5) and the supply oil becomes signal oil in order to control the pump.
