A - Belt Tension Gauge 1 Note: Refer to Specifications, "Engine Design" for non-specified engine torque values.

Loosen bolt (2) and bolt (3) with the nut. Slide the alternator toward the engine.
Remove V-belt (1). Note: Mark the position and direction of rotation if the V-belts will be reused. Never replace single V-belts. Always replace V-belts as a pair.Installation Procedure
Install V-belts (3) in the reverse order of removal.
Use Tooling (A) in order to achieve the correct belt tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace" for proper belt tension.
