Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary.
Use adequate lighting and inspect the potting of the harness connectors at the EFR. Use the attached Rework Procedure to properly tighten the connectors to the proper toruqe if the potting is clear.
In cases where the inspection shows that the harness has connectors with black potting (Image 1), refer to Special Instruction REHS9346 "Procedure to Update the Chassis Harness Assembly on the 795F AC Off-Highway Truck" for information on the proper rework procedure.

This is a 1.0-hour job
This is a 1-hour job to inspect and tighten the connector to the proper torque.
When required, up to an additional 5 hours will be allowed for removal of old wiring harness and installation of new wiring harness.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary.
Initially thread connectors EF-C3 (1) and EF-C4 (2) by hand. Use caution to not cross thread the connectors.
Using a 459-0233 Strap Wrench and a torque wrench suitable for the application. Tighten connector EF-C3 to a torque of 9.3 +/-0.3 Nm (82 +/-3 in lb). Tighten connector EF-C4 to a torque of 10.5 +/-0.3 Nm (93 +/-3 in lb).
Install lock wire to secure the connectors at the interface using 5P-6025 Lock Wire. Refer to REHS5556 for documentation of how to install lock wire for MS connectors.
Verify that no active codes associated with the EFR are present after the repair.
