Place the keyswitch and the disconnect switch in the OFF position.
Turn the disconnect switch and the keyswitch to the ON position.
Check the status of the diagnostic code MID 039 CID 3589 FMI 12. Expected Result:The diagnostic code is not active.Results:
YES - The diagnostic code is not active.Repair: The diagnostic code was caused by the internal CAN data link of the system. Cycling the power has reset the system. Return the machine to normal operation.STOP
NO - The diagnostic code is still active.Repair: The diagnostic code was caused by an internal failure within the object detection sensor. Replace the object detection sensor.STOP
