Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the attachments have been lowered, oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, all hoses and all tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.Note: The hydraulic tank is located on the right side of the machine below the cab.
Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank into a suitable container. The hydraulic tank capacity is 205 L (54 US gal).

Remove two bolts (1) and the washers.
Remove four bolts (2), the washers, and ladder assembly (3) .

Attach a suitable hoist and lifting slings to the guard rail, as shown.

Disconnect electrical connector (4) and two hoses (5) from the windshield washer pumps.
Remove two bolts (6) and the washers from the fender assembly.

Remove four bolts (7) and the washers from the fender assembly.
Use the hoist in order to remove the fender assembly. The weight of the fender assembly is 100 kg (220 lb).

Disconnect three hydraulic hose assemblies (9) from the hydraulic tank.
Disconnect two hydraulic tube assemblies (8) from the hydraulic tank.

Disconnect two hydraulic hose assemblies (12) from the hydraulic tank.
Disconnect three tube assemblies (10) from the hydraulic tank.
Disconnect three hydraulic hose assemblies (11) from the hydraulic tank.

Disconnect electrical connector (13). Remove bolt (14) that holds electrical wire in place. Cut any wire ties which hold the wire in place on the machine.
Disconnect hydraulic hose assembly (16) from the hydraulic tank.
Remove bolt (15) and the washer.

Attach Tooling (A) and (B) to hydraulic tank (17), as shown. Attach a suitable hoist and lifting slings to Tooling (A) .

Remove four bolts (18) and the washers from the lower mounting bracket.

Remove two bolts (19) and the washers from the upper mounting bracket.
Use a hoist in order to remove hydraulic tank (17). The empty weight of the hydraulic tank is 172 kg (380 lb).
