Never short across the starter terminals or across the batteries. Shorting could bypass the engine neutral start system. Shorting could also damage the electrical system.

If the machine is equipped with outside mirrors, adjust the outside mirrors before you operate the machine.Inspect the condition of the seat belt and the condition of mounting hardware.
