Removal Procedure
Start By:
Ensure that the machine and the work tool is parked on a level surface prior to starting the following procedure. Ensure that the hydraulic lockout that is on the machine is in the LOCKED position.
Accidental machine starting can cause injury or death to personnel working on the machine.To avoid accidental machine starting, turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position and remove the key. If the machine is not equipped with a battery disconnect switch, disconnect the battery cables from the battery and tape the battery clamps.Place a do not operate tag at the battery disconnect switch location to inform personnel that the machine is being worked on.
Note: Put identification on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses and tubes. This will help in order to prevent fluid loss. This helps in order to keep contaminants from entering the system.

(1) Accumulator Arms.
Release the system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release" for more information.

Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting device to accumulator arm (1). The weight of accumulator arm (1) is 82 kg (180 lb).
Remove bolt (4) and the nut from pivot pin (2) .
Remove pivot pin (2) from accumulator arm cylinder (3).

Remove bolt (6) and the nut from pivot pin (5) .
Remove pivot pin (5). The weight of pivot pin (5) is 13 kg (29 lb).

Use a suitable lifting device to remove accumulator arm (1) from the felling head. The weight of accumulator arm (1) is 82 kg (180 lb).
