CAP SCREW 2L0039 - Caterpillar

1. Remove control knobs (2), (3) and (4).2. Remove two screws and cover (1) 3. Remove nut (5) and spring washers (6). Keep the spring washers in order for reassembly.4. Remove bolt (7). 5. Remove roll pin (9) and remove collar (8) and control lever assembly (10) and two friction discs. 6. Label and disconnect three wires (11) from switch (13). The order of wires from top to bottom is red, white, green.7. Remove two nuts and bolts (12) and remove switch assembly (13). 8. Remove cotter key and pin (15) and spring (16) and plate (14).9. Loosen nut (18) and separate yoke (17) from rod (19). 10. Remove spring (22). 11. Remove cotter key and pin (26). Remove cotter key and pin (21) and control lever (22).12. Remove bolts (23) and (25) and remove rod assembly (24).13. Remove nut (27) and spring washers (28). Keep spring washers in order for reassembly. 14. Remove two screws (29) and electronic position sensor (30). 15. Remove collar (32) and control rod (31) and two friction discs.16. Remove roll pin (35) and remove pin (34) and block assembly (33).17. Label and remove three wires (38). Remove two screws (37) and remove switch assembly (36). 18. Remove snap ring (39) and remove rod (40). Install in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the wiring connections. Refer to Hydrostatic Transmission Electronic Control System SENR8314 for proper settings of the two micro switch locations.
