Which Generate This Code:The CID 1078 diagnostic code is associated with the blade lift position sensor. The FMI 13 diagnostic code is recorded when the Implement ECM determines that the blade control handle requires calibration. This diagnostic code will only appear when the Implement ECM has been replaced or new software has been flashed into the Implement ECM.System Response:
A loss of the blade lift function is possible.
A level 2 warning is generated.

NOT OK - The CID 1078 FMI 13 diagnostic code is active. The calibration procedure was not performed successfully.Repair: Verify that the correct Implement ECM is installed on the machine. Verify that the correct software has been flashed into the ECM. Then repeat the calibration.If the diagnostic code is still active and the cause is not found, the ECM may have generated this diagnostic code in error.Exit this procedure and perform this procedure again. If the cause of the diagnostic code is not found, you may need to replace the ECM. Prior to replacing an ECM, contact the Technical Communicator at your dealership for a possible consultation with Caterpillar. This consultation may greatly reduce repair time.
