* View A1. Disassemble hydraulic cylinder group.2. Remove retainer (D), Chevron packing seal (C), and shims. Keep retainer (D) for later use.* View E3. Slide retainer (D), spacer(s) (G), and new U-cup seal (F) onto cylinder rod.4. Slide head (B) onto cylinder rod.5. Using the retainer (D), push spacer(s) and new U-cup seal into the seal bore of the cylinder head (B) until the retainer flange is against the cylinder head. The resulting gap in the seal bore is normal.6. Bolt retainer (D) to cylinder head (B).
