Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Attach a suitable lifting device to water temperature regulator housing (12). The weight of water temperature regulator housing (12) is approximately 79 kg (174 lb). Position water temperature regulator housing (12) on fuel filter housing (13) and install the bolts.
Position water temperature regulator housing (12) and fuel filter housing (13) on the cylinder block together. The weight of water temperature regulator housing (12) and fuel filter housing (13) is approximately 136 kg (300 lb). Install the bolts on each side of fuel filter housing (13).

Install a new gasket between flange (10) and the aftercooler housing. Move the flange to the correct position. Install the bolts that hold the flange in position.
Install tube (9) and tube (11).

Install tube (8) and elbow (4) on both sides of the water temperature regulator housing.
Install tube assembly (7) and tube assembly (6).
Connect the tube assembly to elbow (5).

Connect tube assemblies (2) and (3).
Connect tube assemblies (1).
Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change". End By:
Install the fuel filter elements. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Filters - Remove and Install".
