Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Replace O-ring (4) (not shown) with a new part. Apply glycerine to the O-ring before the installation of the water pump (3) and water pump pulley (2) .
Install the water pump (3) and water pump pulley (2) as a unit onto the engine.Note: When the water pump is installed, ensure that the grease fitting is up. Also, ensure that the weep hole is down.
Install bolts (1) in order to secure water pump (3) to the cylinder block.
Fill the cooling system to the correct level. Refer to the appropriate Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct fluid and the correct filling procedure.End By: Install V-belts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "V-Belts - Remove and Install".
