Typical example of the gasketAn updated 7E-6016 Gasket is now available. The updated gasket improves the sealing effectiveness of the connection for the outlet of the water temperature regulator housing on 3500 Engines for Caterpillar machines. The updated gasket includes the addition of four sealing beads on one side of the gasket surface between the bolt holes. Note: The orientation of the bead within the connection is not important. Do not use any joint compound or sealing compound with this connection.Ensure that the mating surfaces of the connection are clean, flat and dry.Existing dealer inventory of the previous revision of this gasket may be exhausted normally.
