CAP 4F5889 - Caterpillar

Move all control levers in all positions to remove the pressure from the hydraulic lines.
1. Disconnect two hydraulic hoses (2) from the stabilizer cylinder. Put plugs or caps in hoses and fittings.2. Remove bolt, lockwasher and clip (1). 3. Remove nut and bolt (3). Remove pin (4). 4. Fasten a hoist to stabilizer cylinder (7).5. Remove nut and bolt (5). Remove pin (6).6. Remove stabilizer cylinder (7). Weight is 98 lb. (44 kg).Install Stabilizer Cylinders
1. Fasten a hoist to stabilizer cylinder (1). Weight is 98 lb. (44 kg).2. Put the stabilizer cylinder in position on the backhoe.3. Install pin (2). Install the bolt and nut that hold the pin in position. 4. Install pin (3). Install the bolt and nut that hold the pin in position. 5. Install clip, lockwasher and bolt (4).6. Connect two hydraulic hoses (5).7. Fill the hydraulic tank. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE for correct level.
