Misdiagnosis of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) pumps and injectors have been reported on certain C175 Off-Highway Truck Engines.Solution

To assist the Caterpillar® engineering team in diagnosing the root cause of the failures, follow the procedure below.
Print the troubleshooting procedure.Note: For a list of the procedures refer to the "Reference Section".
Make notes on what was found for each step of the procedure.
When a final diagnosis is made, return the troubleshooting guide with the DEF pump or injector that was determined to be the problem.
Submit a DSN ticket with the required information.Reference Section
