Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Hook Winch) - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Put orientation and location marks on all fittings for installation purposes.Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before you begin the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the components should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism. Precision components can be damaged by contaminants or by dirt. Perform disassembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Note: The spring warning is for Steps 3, 7, 12, 16, and 17.
Remove relief valve (3) from valve block (2). Remove pressure valve (4) from valve block (2).
Remove bolt (9) and solenoid valve (10) from valve block (8). Repeat this step for the remaining bolt (9) and solenoid valve (10) in valve block (8).
Remove bolts (11) and remove valve block (8) from valve block (16).
Remove O-ring seal (7), spring (6), retainer (5), and O-ring seals (15) from valve block (16).
Remove relief valve (19) from valve block (16). Remove relief valve (27) from valve block (16).
Remove check valve (12) from valve block (16).
Remove bolts (48) from valve block (16).
Remove valve block (42) and O-ring seal (17) from valve block (16).
Remove O-ring seal (43), spring (44), and retainer (45) from valve block (16).
Remove plug (20) and O-ring seal (21) from valve block (16).
Remove bolt (24) and solenoid valve (25) from valve block (22). Repeat this step for the remaining bolts (24) and solenoid valves (25) in valve block (22).
Remove bolts (23) and remove valve block (22).
Remove O-ring seals (33) and (38). Remove springs (32) and (37). Remove retainers (31) and (36). Remove O-ring seals (30).
Remove plug (41). Remove valve (40). Remove plug (46) and O-ring seal (47).
Remove check valves (26).
Remove bolts (57). Remove valve block (49), O-ring seal (58), spring (59), and retainer (60).
Remove bolts (63). Remove valve block (64), O-ring seal (65), spring (66), and retainer (67).
Remove plug (35), O-ring seals (39), plug (52), and relief valve (53).
Remove plug (50) and O-ring seal (51). Remove plug (55) and O-ring seal (56).
Remove valve screw (66). Remove shuttle orifice (61) and pilot (54).
Remove bolts (1) and the washers.
Remove valve block (2). Remove O-ring seals (13), O-ring seals (14), and O-ring seal (18).
Remove valve block (16). Remove O-ring seals (28), O-ring seals (29), and O-ring seal (34).
