Use a suitable press to install shaft (23) into front mounting flange (21). Use Tooling (E) to install retaining ring (22) into front mounting flange (21).

Install lip seal (20) into front mounting flange (21)
Use Tooling (E) to install retaining ring (19) into front mounting flange (21).

Install bearing liners (18).

Install bearing assemblies (17) and slide (16) onto swashplate assembly (15).

Install swashplate assembly (15). Use Tooling (H) to hold slide (16) in the upright position.

Install spring (14) and washers (13) into barrel assembly (8).
Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press to compress spring (14). Install retaining ring (12).

Install spring assembly (11) and shim (10) into barrel assembly (8).

Install ball joint (9) onto barrel assembly (8).

Install retainer plate (7) and piston assemblies (6) into barrel assembly (8).

Use nylon string to install rotating assembly (4). Install O-ring seal (5).

Use Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to install pump housing (1) onto front mounting flange (21). Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 100 10 N m (74 7 lb ft).End By:
Bench test the piston pump before use, refer to Bench Test Procedures, REHS9395, and follow the setting and testing procedures. Install the piston pump.
