Use grinder (3) and abrasive wheel (4) to clean any rust, dirt, or paint from the top area (CC) of blade assembly (A) .

Position deflector plate (1) on top of blade assembly (A) against blocks (C) .Note: Deflector plate (1) weighs approximately 21 kg (46 lb).
Align the center line on deflector plate (1) with the center line on blade assembly (A) .

Tack weld deflector plate (1) to blocks (C) .Note: Refer to ""Proper Welding Procedures"" for proper welding procedures.Note: Ensure that deflector plate (1) is flush with blocks (C) before tack welding.

Weld deflector plate (1) to block (C) .
Repeat Step 16 for the other side.
