Open door assemblies (1) and (2).
Illustration 3 g06191063Note: Mark the routing of harness assembly (3) for installation purposes.
Remove cable straps (4) and disconnect harness assembly (3).

Remove temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (5).

Remove temperature sensor (flame detect) (6).Installation Procedure
Install temperature sensor (flame detect) (6) and temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (5) in the reverse order of removal.Note: Always replace the metal cable straps with a comparable cable strap. Do not use plastic cable straps.Note: Route harness assembly (3) in the original location to protect harness assembly (3) from heat.
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads on temperature sensor (flame detect) (6) and to the threads of temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (5). Tighten temperature sensor (flame detect) (6) and temperature sensor (DPF inlet) (5) to a torque of 45 5 N m (33 4 lb ft).
