Personal injury can result from hot coolant, steam and alkali.At operating temperature, engine coolant is hot and under pressure. The radiator and all lines to heaters or the engine contain hot coolant or steam. Any contact can cause severe burns.Remove cooling system pressure cap slowly to relieve pressure only when engine is stopped and cooling system pressure cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.Do not attempt to tighten hose connections when the coolant is hot, the hose can come off causing burns.Cooling System Coolant Additive contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Personal injury or death may result from failure to adhere to the following procedures.Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire.Clean up all leaked or spilled fuel. Do not smoke while working on the fuel system.Turn the disconnect switch OFF or disconnect the battery when changing fuel filters.
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Cap all lines, all hoses, and all tubes and plug all lines, all hoses, and all tubes. This will help to prevent fluid loss and will help to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the off position.

Open door assemblies (1) and (2).

Disconnect harness assembly (3) and hose assembly (4).

Disconnect hose assemblies (6). Loosen clamp (5) and disconnect hose assembly (7). Reposition hose assembly (7).

Remove four bolts (8), two bolts (9), and the clips. Disconnect and reposition sensor assembly (10).

Disconnect hose assembly (12). Loosen clamp (13) and remove pipe assembly (11).

Disconnect hose assemblies (14) and (15).

Disconnect hose assemblies (16).

Remove bolts (17) mounted to channel assembly (18). Remove channel assembly (18).

Attach a suitable lifting device to clean emissions module (19). The weight of clean emissions module (19) is approximately 310 kg (683 lb).

Remove eight bolts (20) and clean emissions module (19).Installation Procedure
Install clean emissions module (19) in the reverse order of removal.
