Turn the key switch OFF and open the battery disconnectswitch.
Identify the 3E5239 relay locations on the machineper the graphics attachment section.
All relays must be checked for the 0247 date coderelays.
Replace only those relays with a date code of0247 marked on the side of the relay as shown in the photo. When a newrelay is installed, make sure that the machine harness connector lockswith the mating tab on the relay. A "click" should be felt when lockedin place.
When all defective relays are replaced, closethe battery disconnect switch.
For each of the relays that are replaced, checkthe operation of the circuit before putting the machine back into service.

Illustration 1 On newer relays the date code has beenmoved from the side of the relay to the top. There are NO relays with the0247 date code on the top of the relay.
