Install O-ring seals (41). Install O-ring seal (40). Install tube (39). Install bolts (38). Install housing (37). Install bolts (36).

Install stem (32), shims (33), retainer (34), and spring (35) for the regulator valve into regulator assembly (17). Install stem (28), shims (29), retainer (30), and spring (31) for the maximum pressure relief valve into regulator assembly (17).

Install O-ring seals (27).

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install cover (26) and the bolts onto regulator assembly (17).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto engine oil pump (21). The weight of engine oil pump (21) is approximately 67 kg (148 lb). Position engine oil pump (21) onto the engine. Install bolts (25).

Install the O-ring seals on engine oil pump (21). Install adapter (22) and the bolts onto engine oil pump (21). Install the O-ring seals and elbow (23) . Position plate (24) and install the washers and the nuts.
Position mounting group (18) for the alternator. Install the bracket bolts. Install the pulley and bolt (19). If bolt (19) is a M16 bolt, then tighten to a torque of 240 40 N m (177 30 lb ft). If bolt (19) is a M20 bolt, then tighten to a torque of 265 10 N m (196 7 lb ft).Note: Apply Tooling (B) between the wear sleeve and the pulley if replacing either component.
Attach a suitable lifting device onto regulator assembly (17). The weight of regulator assembly (17) is approximately 51 kg (113 lb). Position regulator assembly (17) on the engine oil pump (21). Install the nut and bolts (20). Connect harness assembly (16).

Position bonnet (15) and elbow (13). Install bolts (14).
Position flanges (12) and tube assembly (10). Install bolts (9) and (11).

Position tube assembly (8) and install bolts (6). Connect hose assemblies (7) and (5).
Install gaskets (3) and the end section of air inlet manifold (1). Connect clamps (4). Install bolts (2).
