Remove sun gear (3) and planetary gear assembly (4).

Possible injury can result when removing the retaining ring and spring.Spring force will be released when the retaining ring is removed.Be prepared to hold the cylinder assembly as the retaining ring is removed.
Use Tooling (A) to remove three retaining rings (7) and three gears (8) from planetary gear assembly (4).
Use Tooling (B) to remove retaining ring (6) and gear (5) from planetary gear assembly (4).

Remove inner gear assembly (9).

Use a suitable drill and drill bit to remove the peened portion of nut (13).
