Information:

Keep engine speed low until the engine oil pressure registers on the gauge. If it does not register within 10 seconds, stop the engine and investigate the cause before starting again or engine damage can result.
Pre-operation Warm-up
Allow the engine to warm up at LOW IDLE for at least five minutes. When idling the engine for hydraulic system warm-up, observe the following recommendations. In temperatures above 0°C (32°F), warm-up requires approximately 15 minutes. In temperatures below 0°C (32°F), warm-up requires approximately 30 minutes or more.In temperatures below -18°F (0°F) or if hydraulic functions are sluggish, more warm-up time may be required. If the warning indicator light stays on, have the necessary repairs made before operating the machine.Frequently look at the operator's panel during operation. If any of the warning indicators come on, stop the machine if necessary and investigate. In case the engine does not start after several attempts, do not continue to try and start the machine. Investigate the cause of the problem.Moving and Stopping the Machine
Be sure no one is working on or near the machine to prevent injury. Keep the machine under control at all times to prevent injury.Reduce machine speed when maneuvering in tight quarters or when breaking over a rise by using direction and speed control lever.
Always select a transmission range that will allow the machine to operate in high idle. Reduction in engine rpm will result in reduced steering time and engine overheating.
1. Adjust the operator's seat.2. Fasten the seat belt. 3. Move the transmission control lever to the desired speed range. 4. Disengage the parking/secondary brake. 5. Push the direction and speed control lever to the right to move the machine forward or to the left to move the machine backward. Push the lever forward to increase forward machine speed. Pull the lever backward to increase backward machine speed.
To avoid possible machine damage, do not move the direction and speed control lever from one travel direction to the other without bringing the machine to a complete stop first.
6. Slowly move the direction and speed control lever to the NEUTRAL position. 7. Apply pressure to the brake pedal to stop machine movement.
Stopping the engine will result in loss of machine steering. Personal injury or death can result.
8. If circumstances require an unusually fast stopping procedure, move the direction and speed control lever to the NEUTRAL position. Apply pressure to the brake pedal and pull the secondary/parking brake lever.Drive the machine forward for best visibility and control.Changing Direction
1. Bring the machine to a complete stop before changing directions. Slowly move the direction and speed control lever to the neutral position.2. After the machine is stopped, move the direction and speed control lever to the desired direction.
