1 16 124-1855 Bolt Use the following procedure in order to tighten the cylinder head bolts. Refer to Illustration 1for the tightening sequence:
The following bolts are 194 mm (7.6 inch) long: Bolt 1 through bolt 10, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, and 25.
The following bolts are 215.9 mm (8.50 inch) long: Bolt 11 through bolt 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, and 26.
1. Apply 6V-4876 Lubricant to the bolt threads and both sides of the hard washers.
2. Tighten bolt 1 through bolt 26 in a numerical sequence to 270 15 N m (199 11 lb ft).
3. Tighten bolt 1 through bolt 26 in a numerical sequence to 450 15 N m (332 11 lb ft).
4. Again, tighten bolt 1 through bolt 26 in a numerical sequence to 450 15 N m (332 11 lb ft).

4 - 3B-0623 Cup Plug Before assembly, apply Loctite 11358 to the bores for the cup plug.
5 12 166-2904 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lubricate the bore lightly with 15W-40 clean engine oil immediately prior to assembly.
6 6 263-4920 Injector Sleeve Before assembly, apply green Loctite 620 to press fit diameter of the lower end of injector sleeves.
Press the injector sleeve until the injector sleeve bottoms the face (7).
