Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the air conditioning unit. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Heating and Air Conditioning Unit - Remove".

Remove screws (1) and housing (2) .

Cut and remove cable strap (3). Disconnect harness assemblies (4) and (5) .

Disconnect harness assembly (6). Remove screws (7) and actuator (8). Remove screws (9) and upper cover (10) .

Remove screws (11) and plate (12). Remove evaporator coil (13) .

Remove screws (14) and plate (15) from evaporator coil (13) .Installation Procedure

Install plate (15) and screws (14) into evaporator coil (13) .Note: Check the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the O-ring seals, if necessary.

Install evaporator coil (13). Install plate (12) and screws (11) .

Lower upper cover (10). Guide tube assembly (16) for the thermostat into evaporator coil (13) .

Make sure that door assemblies (17) and (18) are properly seated in upper cover (10) .

Install screws (9) into upper cover (10). Install actuator (8) and screws (7). Connect harness assembly (6) .

Connect harness assemblies (4) and (5). Install a new cable strap (3) .
