CARRIER AS-DIFFERENTIAL 2662093 - Caterpillar

1. Put a 50 ton screw jack (1) under the equalizer bar and lift the side of the machine. Put the equalizer bar pads under compression. 2. Remove two bolts (2) from outside of lower pad assembly (3) on the opposite side of the machine. 3. Slide the pad assemblies out until the pad assemblies are against the frame. Remove four bolts and nuts (4) that hold the upper pad assembly to the lower pad assembly. 4. Put 50 ton screw jack (1) on the other side of the equalizer bar. Do Steps 2 through 3 for the pad assemblies on the opposite side of the machine.5. Remove the lower and upper pad assemblies from the right side of the equalizer bar. 6. Put 50 ton screw jack (1) on the opposite side of the equalizer bar. Remove lower pad assembly (3). Remove upper pad assembly (5) from the equalizer bar. Remove the 50 ton screw jack from under the equalizer bar.Install Equalizer Bar Pads
1. Put 50 ton screw jack (1) under the equalizer bar and lift the machine to give maximum clearance to the opposite side. 2. Put upper pad assembly (2) on the equalizer bar. 3. Slide lower pad assembly (3) under the upper pad assembly. Install the bolts and nuts that hold the pad assemblies together. 4. Put 50 ton screw jack (1) on the other side of the equalizer bar. Do Steps 2 through 3 for the pad assemblies on the opposite side of the machine. 5. Slide the front edge of the lower pad assembly into the retainer on the equalizer bar. Install bolts (4) that hold the pad assemblies in position.6. Move the 50 ton screw jack to the opposite side of the equalizer bar and do Step 5.end by:a) install middle bottom guard
