Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device onto axle housing (2). The weight of axle housing (2) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Align axle housing (2) and flanges (4) with the marks that were made during the removal procedure. Install bolts (1) and nut (3). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 320 N m (236 lb ft). Tighten nut (3) to a torque of 190 N m (140 lb ft).End By:
Install the final drives. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive Planetary - Install".
Install the axle onto the machine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Axle (Fixed) - Install".
