Place all shims (1) on top of pin (5) and place cap (4) on top of shims (1) .

Use bolts (A) in order to press pin (7) in place in the lower sleeve. Turn bolts in equal amounts in order to press the pin in place. Use washers (2) and spacers (3) in conjunction with bolts (A) as the assembly progresses.

Remove bolts (3), cap (4), and shims (1) .

Install eyebolt (C) in top of pin (5). Remove pin (5) from C-frame (J) .Note: The lifting equipment may be removed from the blade assembly at this point. The blade assembly will rest with only one end bit on the floor. The blade assembly can pivot about pin (7) .

Assemble spacer (6) into C-frame (J) .Note: Position the hoses for the tilt cylinder between C-frame (J) and spacer (6), as shown.
Remove the pin for the rod end of the tilt cylinder. Remove the two spacers from the upper right corner of the blade assembly.

Assemble the head end of tilt cylinder (8) into C-frame (J). The spherical bearing must rest on top of spacer (6) .
Install pin (5). Refer to Step 19 for the correct procedure. Use bolts (3) in order to seat pin (5) .

Check the gap between the top of C-frame (J) and cap (4). Adjust the number of shims (1). One shim must protrude above the top face of C-frame (J) .Note: After the final assembly of pin (5), there must be a gap between cap (4) and the top of C-frame (J). However, cap (4) may contact the top of C-frame (J) in the area under each bolt head.
Remove the plugs from the ports of tilt cylinder (8). Use an appropriate container to catch any oil that may drain from the cylinder.
Use connectors (9) and seals (10) (not shown) to install the hydraulic hoses to tilt cylinder (8) .

Note: Before you tighten the hydraulic hose connections, put a twist in the hydraulic hoses so that the hoses do not rub on the cylinder rods. See the illustration.

Install the rod end of cylinder (8) to the blade. Use the pin, the retainer, the bolts, and the spacers that were removed in Step 23.Note: Install one spacer above and install one spacer below the rod end of cylinder (8) .
Install guard assembly (11) to tilt cylinder (8). Use bolts (12) and washers (13) .

Install one angle cylinder to the blade by using the following components that are provided with the blade: the pin, the retainer, the bolt, the washer and the spacers.Note: Install one spacer above and install one spacer below the rod end of the angle cylinder.
Repeat Step 31 in order to install the angle cylinder on the other side of the blade.

Install clamps (14) to the head end of tilt cylinder (8) and to the cylinder hoses. Use bolts (15), washers (16), and locknuts (17) .
