Unhook latch (8) at the rear of the engine compartment, and open engine hood (9).

Move hood support bracket (10) in order to support engine hood (9).

Remove three bolts (11) and washers Remove right side panel (12).

Disconnect drum brake supply hose assembly (15) from tee (16) at the "X7" port on the propel pump. Hand tighten Tool (J) on the hose assembly, then loosen the plug one-half turn to allow chamber venting. Use Tool (H) to cap the tee.
Disconnect axle brake supply hose assembly (17) from tee (16) at the "X7" port on the propel pump. Hand tighten Tool (J) on the hose assembly in the port, then loosen the plug one-half turn to allow chamber venting. Use Tool (H) to cap the tee.

Remove six bolts (19) and washers. Remove belly pan (18).

Disconnect case drain hose assembly (20) from the axle motor.

Connect inlet side of Tool (E) to the port where case drain hose assembly (20) was disconnected. Connect case drain hose assembly to outlet side of Tool (E).

Connect one Tool (K2) to each of the following pressure taps:
Forward pressure tap "AF" (21) for the axle pump.
Reverse pressure tap "AR" (22) for the axle pump.Test Procedure

Move engine start switch (7) into the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes. Move to throttle switch (3) to operate the engine at high idle.

Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on display (23). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches a minimum of 38 °C (100 °F).
Move parking brake switch (2) to the OFF position.

Move propel lever (1) to the FORWARD position. Monitor the pressure at forward pressure tap "AF" (21). Check the case drain flow when the pressure in the forward circuit is 10000 kPa (1450 psi). The flow should be 13 3 L/min (3.4 0.8 US gpm).
Move propel lever (1) to the REVERSE position. Monitor the pressure at reverse pressure tap "AR" (22). Check the case drain flow when the pressure in the reverse circuit is 10000 kPa (1450 psi). The flow should be 13 3 L/min (3.4 0.8 US gpm).
Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.
Move throttle switch (3) to the LOW IDLE position.
Move engine start switch (7) to the OFF position.
Disconnect Tool (K2) from each pressure tap.
Disconnect Tool (B) from case drain hose assembly (20) and from the drum motor. Connect the case drain hose assembly to the drum motor.
Position belly pan (18) and secure with six bolts (19) and washers.
Connect axle brake supply hose assembly in reverse order of disassembly.
Connect drum brake supply hose assembly in reverse order of disassembly.
Attach left panel and right panel in the reverse order of removal.
Move hood support bracket (10) into the storage position.
Close engine hood (9) and secure latch (8).
