Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the cooling system package.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Remove pin assembly (1).
Remove bolts (2) and the washers. Remove bolts (4) and the washers. Remove fuel cooler (3).

Remove bolts (5) and the washers. Remove bolts (7) and the washers.
Remove clip (6).

Disconnect cable (8) from refrigerant condenser (10).
Remove pin assemblies (9) and remove refrigerant condenser (10).

Remove pin assembly (12).
Remove clip (15).
Remove bolts (11) and the washers. Remove bolts (14) and the washers. Remove hydraulic oil cooler (13).

Remove braces (16).

Attach a suitable lifting device to aftercooler (17). The weight of aftercooler (17) is approximately 91 kg (201 lb).
Remove bolts (18) and the washers.

Remove bolts (19) and the washers. Use the suitable lifting device in order to lower and remove aftercooler (17). Installation Procedure
Install aftercooler (17) in the reverse order of removal.
