Shut off the air supply at the air reservoir and drain the pressurized air from the air starting system. The sudden release of pressurized air can cause personal injury.

Disconnect air hose (2) and air hose (3) from barring group (4) .
Remove bolts (1) that hold barring group (4) to the rear housing. Remove barring group (4) .Installation Procedure

Position barring group (4) on the engine block.Note: During the installation of the barring group, the support assembly can be misaligned. Install bolts (1) hand tight. Operate the handle and the shaft in order to properly position the support assembly. Then tighten bolts (1) .
Install bolts (1) that hold barring group (4) to the rear housing.
Connect air hose (3) and air hose (2) to barring group (4) .
