Heating and Air Conditioning Controls (If Equipped)
The heating and air conditioning controls are located to the right of the operator's station on side dash.Temperature Variable Control Switch
Temperature Variable - Turn the knob anywhere between OFF (left) and MAXIMUM (right) heat to get the desired cab temperature.Heating and Air Conditioning Fan Speed Switch
Heating and Air Conditioning Fan Speed Switch - This switch controls the heating and air conditioning three-speed blower fan motor. Off (1) - Move the switch to this position to stop the blower fan.Heater
Move the switch to the right to operate the heating system. Low Speed (2) - Move the switch to this position to operate the heater at low fan speed. Medium Speed (3) - Move the switch to this position to operate the heater at medium fan speed. High Speed (4) - Move the switch to this position to operate the heater at high fan speed.Air Conditioner
Move the switch to the left to operate the air conditioning system. High Speed (5) - Move the switch to this position to operate the air conditioner at high fan speed. Medium Speed (6) - Move the switch to this position to operate the air conditioner at medium fan speed. Low Speed (7) - Move the switch to this position to operate the air conditioner at low fan speed.Heating and Air Conditioning System Operation
The heating and air conditioning system can perform four functions: Heating - Turn the blower fan switch to LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH speed. Adjust the temperature variable control for the desired temperature. Cooling - Turn the blower fan switch to LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH speed. Adjust the temperature variable control for the desired temperature. Pressurizing - Pressure inside of the cab will help keep dust out, when heating or cooling is not desired.Turn the temperature variable controls to OFF. Turn heating fan to either LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH speed, depending on the volume of air needed to keep out dust. Defogging - This will remove and present moisture from forming on the windshield and windows.Turn the air conditioning fan to LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH speed, depending on the volume of air needed to remove moisture from the air in the cab. Adjust the temperature controls until it is comfortable and windshield and side windows are free of moisture.Seat and Seat Adjustment
Adjust the seat at the beginning of each shift or when changing operators.Adjust the seat to allow full travel of the pedals when the operator is seated against the seat back.Seat Adjustment
