Remove the rear axle assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oscillating Axle (Rear) - Remove".

Position the rear axle assembly on a suitable stand or block in position, as shown.
Remove 12 bolts (1) and cover (3).

Remove 12 bolts (4), thrust bearing (6), and plate (5).

Remove thrust bearing (7) from the rear trunnion support.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to rear trunnion support (2). The weight of the rear trunnion support is approximately 129 kg (285 lb). Remove rear trunnion support (2).

Remove O-ring seal (8).
Use a hammer and a punch to remove sleeve bearing (9) from the rear trunnion support.

Remove 16 bolts (10) from trunnion (11).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to trunnion (11). The weight of the trunnion is approximately 61 kg (135 lb). Remove trunnion (11).

Remove O-ring seal (12) from trunnion (11).
