Remove & Install Valve Cover Base
Start By:a. remove valve cover assemblies 1. Disconnect wires (2) at each fuel injector. Remove breather pipe (1). Disconnect the wire harness from atmospheric pressure sensor (3). Remove the atmospheric pressure sensor from the valve cover base. 2. Remove bolts (4), washers (6), isolators (7), and isolator sleeves (8). Remove valve cover base (5) and base gasket (9). The following steps are for the installation of the valve cover base.3. Position base gasket (9) and valve cover base (5) on the cylinder head assembly. Install isolator sleeves (8), isolator (7), washers (6) and bolts (4) that hold the valve cover base in position.4. Install breather pipe (1).5. Connect wires (2) at each fuel injector.6. Install atmospheric pressure sensor (3) in the valve cover base. Connect the wire harness to the atmospheric pressure sensor.End By:a. install valve cover assemblies
