Information:
There are two main ways of troubleshooting problems with the GPS Receivers:
The status LED indicator lights located on the front panel of the GPS Receivers
The GPS Receiver diagnostics toolsStatus LED Indicator Lights
The GPS Receivers have three LED indicator lights on the front panel of the receiver next to the harness connector. The behavior of these LED indicator lights indicate the status of the receiver. The LED indicator lights are shown in Illustration 1.

The "Diagnostics - GPS" screens allow you to view the current status of the GPS Receiver position solution and verify that the GPS Receivers are functioning correctly. The Left Receiver And Right Receiver Soft Keys
In order to access the "Diagnostics - GPS" screen from the main "Diagnostics" screen, press the "GPS" soft key.Note: The "Left Receiver", "Right Receiver" and "Data Link" soft keys are always available. The "Receiver Tests" soft key and the "GPS Log: OFF" soft key are only available in "Service" mode by default.

Field    Meaning
Satellites: Used     The number of satellites used in the GPS position solution. Five or more satellites (both L1 and L2) are needed to obtain "RTK FIXED". Continuous tracking to four or more satellites is needed to maintain "RTK FIXED". The machine can only use satellites that are tracked by both the machine and the base station. (3)
Satellites: PDOP     A measure of the strength of the satellite geometry. Generally, the smaller the PDOP the better the satellite geometry and the better the system performance. A PDOP of 7 or less is required for most applications. Best system performance is generally achieved when the PDOP is less than 2.
Satellites: G1     The number of good quality G1 signals being received from GLONASS satellites
Satellites: G2     The number of good quality G2 signals being received from GLONASS satellites
