Installation Procedure

Put a new gasket for the water pump elbow in place. Install water pump (1). Install the bolts and the washers that hold the water pump and the elbow in place.

Put a thin layer of engine oil on seal (3).
Put a new gasket between the exhaust manifold and tube assembly (2) in position. Install tube assembly (2) and the bolts that hold the tube assembly in place.
Tighten the hose clamp on the hose to the oil cooler.

Install clip (4) with the bolt and the washer. Clip (4) holds the breather tube in place.
Connect the hose from the radiator to the water pump.
Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.
