Install elbow (44) and connect hose (42). Secure the hose in place with hose clamp (43). Tighten the hose clamp to a torque of 4.5 0.5 N m (40 4.5 lb in). Orient the elbow and hose in the direction that is shown in Illustration 53.
Ensure that all of the newly installed tee pieces, connectors, adapters and hoses are tightened correctly.

Fit dust cover (45) to cable (6) .

Install film (46) and film (47) beside the secondary boom lowering control so that the films can be easily read by anyone that is operating the secondary boom lowering control.

Install film (48) to cover (49). Install the cover to bracket (2) with bolts (11) and hard washers (9) .
Refill the hydraulic tank. Reuse the hydraulic oil that was drained earlier in this installation procedure. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission and Hydraulic System Oil - Change".
Ensure that the boom is fully lowered and retracted.Install the Cable Bag and Secure the Jumper Cable

Drill three suitable 12 mm (0.47 inch) mounting holes in the rear panel of the engine compartment for cable bag (50) .
Use bolts (51), locknuts (52), and washers (4) to secure cable bag (50) to the inside of the engine enclosure.

Store cable (53) in cable bag (50) that is located in the engine enclosure.Post Installation

Fit edging (55) to the cutouts that accommodate the hoses for the secondary boom lowering control in new panel (54) for the right side of the boom.
Install panel (54) and the other two original panels to the sides of the boom.Commissioning Procedure
Note: Ensure that the machine is on flat and level ground. Ensure that there is clearance in order to raise the boom and extend the boom.Note: Do not connect the secondary boom lowering control to your machine, if your machine is only installed with one battery. If your machine only has one battery, use a second machine as the source of battery power. If the machine is not already equipped with two batteries, a second battery must be installed on the machine when an secondary boom lowering control is installed.

Connect the black clip of cable (53) to the negative terminal (-ve) of the batteries on the machine. Connect the red clip of the cable to the positive terminal (+ve) of the batteries of the machine.

Press toggle switch (10) to the left in order to run the pump.

With toggle switch (10) in the running position, operate the levers on valve (22) in order to move the boom. Move the boom in order to verify that the secondary boom lowering control is operating correctly. When you have finished verifying that the secondary boom lowering control works, ensure that the boom is fully retracted and fully lowered.
