1. Install snapring (26) into the sun gear (11) groove. Install carrier (14) into sun gear (11). 2. Install snapring (43) into the sun gear (11) snapring groove. 3. Insert needle bearings (18) into planetary gears (12), fit thrust washers (20), the install into carrier (14).* Use care in handling needle bearing (18) so as not to deform the retainer, also prevent entry of dust and foreign matter. 4. Insert planetary shaft (16) into carrier (14).* Align the carrier (14) hole and needle bearing (18) center, then insert planetary shaft (16).* If planetary shaft (16) is difficult to insert by hand, lightly hit it with a plastic-faced hammer.Insert aligning the directions of planetary shaft (16) spring pin hole and the carrier (14) spring pin hole. 5. Align the spring pin inserting holes of carrier (14) and planetary shaft (16), then drive in spring pins (22) with a hammer.* Use care for inserting direction of spring pin (22). 6. Punch the opening of carrier (14) spring pin hole with a punche.* Use care for lotation of punch since punching is to deform the spring pin hole opening to serve as spring pin (22) stopper.* Check that planetary gear (12) rotates smoothly by hand. If any hitching is felt, replace the bearing.(9) Reassembly of carrier (15) assembly 1. Install snapring (25) to carrier (15).* Fixing of snapring (25) is not required. 2. Attach needle bearing (19) onto planetary gear (13), attach thrust washers (21), then install into carrier (15).* Use care in handling needle bearing (19) so as not to deform the retainer, also prevent entry of dust and foreign matter. 3. Insert planetary shaft (17) into carrier (15).* Align the carrier (15) hole center and needle bearing (19) I.D. center, then insert planetary shaft (17).* When planetary shaft (17) is difficult to insert by hand, insert it by roghtly hitting with a plastic-faced hammer.* Insert it while aligning the planetary shaft (17) spring pin hole and the carrier (15) spring pin hole. 4. Align carrier (15) and the planetary shaft (17) spring pin inserting hole, then drive in spring pin (23) with a hammer.* Use care for the spring pin (23) inserting direction. 5. Punch the spring pin opening of carrier (15) with punch and hammer.* Punching the opening is to stop the spring pin.* Ensure that planetary gear (13) rotates smoothly by hand.If any hitching is felt, replace needle bearing. (10) Install snapring (24) into the pinion shaft (4) snapring groove using snapring pliers.* This can be performed after procedure (2) 3. (11) Clean the sealing surface of swing casing (1) flange section with solvent, then dry. Apply a coat of liquid packing onto the flange section, then drive knock pins (44) into swing casing (1) with a hand hammer.* Use care for knock pin (44) installation direction. (12) Clean the ring gear (9) mating surface to swing casing (1) using solvent, degrease, then dry. Screw-eyebolts into the ring gear bolt holes, connect eyebolts and wires with shackles,
