Service and Travel Locks (7)This safety message is located on both tow arms near the screed service lock pins. This safety message is also located on both hopper wings.

In order to prevent personal injury from accidental screed movement, lock the screed in the RAISED position by using the service lock lever in order to extend the lock pins, after the screed is fully raised.
Raised hopper wings can unexpectedly swing down and cause a crushing hazard which could result in serious injury or death. Always engage the hopper travel locks in order to secure the hopper in the raised position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hopper Travel Lock" for directions on engaging the hopper travel lock.
