Existing bracket and washer
Remove alternator (4) and washer (1). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Alternator - Remove" for the correct procedure.
Remove bolts (3) from bracket (2) .
Remove bracket (2) from the cylinder head.Installation Procedure

New bracket and washer
Install new bracket (2) to the cylinder head. Ensure that the bracket is correctly orientated.
Install bolts (3). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 44 N m (32 lb ft).
Install alternator (4) and new washer (1). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Alternator - Install" for the correct procedure.
