Position plate (2) on the bottom of C-frame (4). Tack weld the plate in position.
Position plate (3) on the outside of C-frame (4). Leave a 12 mm (.5 inch) space (N) above the top face of bottom plate (2). Tack weld plate (3) in position.
Position plate (1) on the inside of C-frame (4). Leave a 12 mm (.5 inch) space (N) above the top face of bottom plate (2). Tack weld plate (1) in position.
Add a 12 mm (.5 inch) fillet weld at top lap joints (P) .
Fill in spaces (Q)
